Dutch Association of Registered Controllers - VRC.nl

The Vereniging van Registercontrollers (or VRC) is the Dutch Association of Registered Controllers. The members of the VRC are experienced practitioners with a university degree who successfully have participated in the post Master program for Registered Controller (RC, also known as Executive Master of Finance and Control, EMFC).

The VRC aims to enhance the professional competence and development of her members. The VRC stimulates the exchange of professional knowledge and skills in favour of both her members and the accredited higher learning institutions. To do so, the VRC keeps close contact with the academic community, is exchanging information in the field of theory and practice, and is maintaining contact with organisations and institutions with whom it shares common interests.

At the NBA-VRC the VRC cooperates with AIB (the association of Chartered Accountants working in financial management [NBA]). Activities organised by the Controllers Institute are part of a broader field of activities to which the VRC members have access. Among these activities one can find a great number of courses and meetings, for example:

- the Training & Development Programme (www.financial-executive.nl)
- various events, such as the Annual Congress
- and the professional magazine MCA

At this moment the VRC has 3000 members and 200 associate members.
